I am the proud recipient of a Fulbright scholarship at Queen's University Belfast, a science communicator for the USDA Forest Service & the Center for Science Communication at CSU, the podcast host of More About More, and a social media influencer through @TriathleteBenny. Through all of my work, I aim to combine my athletic and journalistic talents to empower others; to provide a voice for the voiceless.

As an adventure journalist, I create multimedia content through my cycling and trail runs throughout the mountain west, where I find stories from people and wilderness alike. I'm a firm believer in sharing the euphoria and sanctity found in nature with the world, to foster a heightened appreciation for the sustainability and longevity of the environment.

In my writing, I focus on topics such as air quality research, endurance sports, environmental conservation, and leadership. My work has been published by the College of Liberal Arts Magazine (CSU), Spiritus Mundi, PlanetForward, and MagneticAg.

With the CSC, my work is centered around interdisciplinary approaches to science communication, with articles highlighting the National Park Service, Access Sensor Technologies, and NASA-funded CEAMS (Citizen-Enabled Aerosol Measurements for Satellites) air-quality studies.

Additionally, I serve as an ambassador for the College of Liberal Arts at CSU, a member of the Student Trustee Council of the Society of Professional Journalists, and the marketing coordinator for SLiCE at CSU.
